Akshay Mathur is the founding team member of wireless security leader AirTight Networks and is a social shopping pioneer of ShopSocially. He currently spends most of his time developing front-end of ShopSocially, a start-up in Internet consumer space with emphasis on shopping domain.  He has also founded yugbharti.com  for sharing contact information amongst members of close communities.

Constantly working with startups, Akshay has gained immense knowledge and experience in diverse technical fields as well as non-technical fields including wireless planning, deployment and security, software development and testing, internet marketing and web analytics, configuration and release management, social media platforms and more.

In the past, he has also been a Configuration and Release Manager at GS Lab, Project associate at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and Systems and Network Administrator at Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Sanatan Dharma Vidyalaya.

Social Activities

Akshay has worked with IIT Kanpur on a project of deploying long-haul Wi-Fi link for bridging the digital divide between urban and rural India. He has also worked with Pradan, an NGO that works for financial upliftment of villagers.



Educational qualifications



He is a B. Tech from Govind Ballabh Pant Krishi Evam Praudyogi Vishwavidyalaya. He is also a part of several activities and societies like Spicmacay, Engineering Society, Tech Mirror, Sprinkler, Sanskritik and Chetana Parishad
