Dr. Bhooshan is a Child & Family Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist. He completed MD and DNB in Psychiatry from B.J. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospitals,Pune.

After a yearlong stint as a lecturer in Psychiatry in the same deprtment, he explored and enjoyed private practice for 3 years. After that he spent almost 4 years in UK as a sponsored candidate by The Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK. This time was spent in various subspecialities of psychiatry to gain more hands-on experience. After completimg Membership Exam of The College, Bhooshan persued his interest in Clinical Hypnosis, Psychotheray and Trauma Therapy in the UK.

Since 2008, Bhooshan is back in India in part time private pratice and full time persue of his reason for return: to make Indian psychological services more scientific, affordable and accesible using technology and human resource potentiation.

Bhooshan lives in Pune with wife ( a real doctor, Intensive Care Specialist) and two daughters ( who constantly put to test his knowledge in child and family psychology). His favourite activities are reading all sorts of books, listening to all sorts of music and spending all remaining time with family and a bunch of friends.

Bhooshan is an occasional blogger ( www.childpsychiatrypune.com) and works to prevent childhood sex abuse as personal social responsibilty.
